Q. What is the biggest religion on earth right now?

A. Christianity, with 33% of the world's population, though it's number of members is dropping. Islam is in second, and is growing faster then the world's population. Third is Hinduism. And though Judaism is popular in the United States, wordwide, it accounts for less then .25% (and has never accounted for more than 3% of the world's population).

Q. Why are there atheists and agnostics on a religion and faith board?

A. People come to the board to discuss religion and faith. It does not mean that those who do not believe in God or haven't religion don't have issues of faith. Most people come to the board to learn about other religions, or possibly look into a religion themselves.

Q. So, what's the meaning of life?

A. 42.

Q. Who is the Catrep/board monitor and why does he dislike us?

A. Catrep is an employee of AOL, hired to make your life a living hell. He TOSes people for incredibly stupid reasons and is despised by all. He/she is in charge of monitoring the board for off-topic posts and bad language, and passing out TOS violations. If a post disapears, blame Catrep.

Q. Why is there a 'k' in the word 'magic' suddenly?

A. Some witches differenciate their magic from stage-magic by spelling it uniquely. The most common variant of the word is "magick".

Q. Where do non-Christians/Jews get their morals from, if not the bible and it's Commandments?

A. Most religions have rules for morals, but everyone can live by the "Golden Rule," which predates the bible, and needent be associated with any religion. Simply put, "if you don't want it done to you, don't do it to others." Though a select few religions like Satanism generally do not follow this belief, most do. Most moral and ethnic opinions of non-Jews and non-Christians are influenced by day-to-day life (if not their holy book, assuming they have one) as opposed to the Christian Bible.

Q. It really makes me angry to see people using "Xian" and "Xianity" instead of typing out the name - why do they do this?

A. Despite what one may think, "Xian" is not intended to be offensive. The "x" is not "crossing out Christ" - it stands for the Greek "Christos" (Χριστοζ) and means "Christ."
