Yo, Dawg
Welcome to the 'Frequently
Asked Questions' page of the AOL message board forum Religion and Faith (r+f).
This isn't an introduction to the world's religions, but rather a collection of
answers to common and basic questions that we hear asked on a regular basis.
If you're a new poster, have fun learning. We hope this page is an asset
to you. If you're an old poster, you've lost all faith and know that this
page doesn't help.
What is R+F
R+F is what we call an
AOL message board forum called 'Religion and Faith.' The board, though geared
towards teens, is full of a wide variety of people of many ages and many faiths.
Unlike adult boards where people are often "set in their ways," R+F
is a great place for discussion, debate and most of all -- EDUCATION!
Why This Exists
This page exists primarily
so that new posters will stop asking the same questions every five minutes.
Guess what? It doesn't help! None of you seem to bother reading this
page.
Why You Should
Read This Page
The regs will make you
suffer a horrible and painful death if you don't. That should be reason
enough... but if it's not, here's another one: you'll look a lot more knowledgeable
if you already know the things presented here. You will, therefore, fit
in much quicker.
Finding Info
Here
Click on a topic on the
left side to read the frequenty asked questions about that topic. Questions
and answers should appear in this area. If you aren't sure what category
a question would be under, or you want to check multiple categories, use the search
feature at the bottom of every page (type in a keyword or two and hit "entre").
Also, every section
of questions has an area for links and a list of related books so that you can
learn more about the topic, should you choose to.
And Lastly...
Thanks for the help of
all you people who wrote answers, collected book sources, and helped me edit.
You all are great!
This page exists
because of YOU! Please send any new questions, answers, links, book recommendations
or report a broken link here.
This page's survival depends on the action of R+F members and the questions of
newcomers.
For fun stuff,
try the classic regs
page!
